WE WILL REMEMBER THEM
A personal invitation from Rob Good
New Year’s Eve, 1990. Somewhere in the Saudi desert. I was 19. My mates were 18—the same age as some of the lads pulling on a Totton & Eling shirt today.
A few months later, we would move into Iraq. That morning, we did not know whether it would be the last we would ever see.
That is why Remembrance means so much to me. I would like to personally invite serving Armed Forces personnel, reservists and fellow veterans to join us at Miller Park, with free admission as our guests.
Come with an old mate. Bring your family. Or come on your own—you will be welcome.
Rob Good · British Army, 1988–1999
